Problem behavior

Working with problem behavior within the framework of PFA/SBT (Practical Functional Assessment / Skill-Based Treatment) is a modern, evidence-based approach focused on understanding the causes of behavior and addressing them by building essential skills in a caring and supportive environment.

PFA helps identify the factors that trigger problem behavior, while SBT teaches the child adaptive and positive behaviors in a safe and comfortable setting. A gentle, compassionate approach is key—it fosters the child’s sense of security and creates the foundation for successful learning.

As a certified supervisor with FTF Behavioral Consulting, I use advanced methods that incorporate the most effective and individually tailored strategies for behavior support.

My goal is to help the child and their family overcome the challenges associated with problem behavior and create conditions that improve quality of life.
